Become Małopolska Entrepreneur

'Become Małopolska Entrepreneur' is a project implemented by the Małopolska Regional Development Agency (MARR) in partnership with 8 business environment institutions.
Aim: To create optimum conditions for entrepreneurship development in the region.
Activities proposed as part of the project include: training and consulting services and a non-repayable investment grant to a maximum of PLN 40,000.
For whom: this project is addressed to all inhabitants of the Region of Małopolska intending to launch their own business. Potential grant applicants will include inhabitants who have not run a company for a period of 12 months prior to the date of joining the project. An essential condition is also to register the company in the Region of Małopolska.
Project implementation schedule: between November 2008 and May 2011.
Funding sources: European Union funds under the Human Capital Operational Programme 2007-2013, Measure 6.2 'Support and promotion of entrepreneurship and self-employment.'
Value: over PLN 25.5 million.

Outcome: 374 participants will obtain a non-repayable grant, and 540 people will be provided with entrepreneurship knowledge.
