‘Europe after the Lisbon Treaty – Strategies for the Future’

This year, in which the Treaty of Lisbon has come into force, the world’s leaders in the fields of politics and economy will meet in Krynica-Zdrój to discuss the key strategies for Europe’s future.
The debate inaugurating the Forum, which will be held under MARR’s auspices, is aimed at providing the answers to the following questions regarding the future of Europe: what will Europe’s new face and priorities set by the Lisbon Treaty be like? Will the continent manage to overcome all the problems faced in the 21st century? And will the vision of democratic, competitive and new technology-focused European Union based on powerful regions become a reality?
The participants of the MARR plenary session devoted to Europe’s future, which is to take place on September the 8th, will include politicians that have a direct influence on decision-making process in the European Union and its member states.

The 20th Economic Forum

On September the 8th – 11th 2010, in Krynica-Zdrój, over 2,000 guests from 60 countries will be participating in discussions on macroeconomics, business, politics, energy, innovations and management. Several hundred debates will take place, including plenary sessions, round-table talks and panel discussions. They will gather politicians, businessmen and scientists who will discuss the so-called new Lisbon project of European integration.
The Economic Forum is a world-famous event, whose mission is creating favourable conditions for the development of political and economic cooperation between the European Union and its neighbours.
