September the 8th – 11th 2010: for the twentieth time economists, politicians, scientists and journalists will meet in Krynica-Zdrój to discuss the future of the economy. The subject of the jubilee Economic Forum and its inaugural session’s title is ‘Europe after the Lisbon Treaty – Strategies for the Future.’
This is the second time that the Małopolska Regional Development Agency has actively participated in the preparations for this prestigious event, being the Forum’s official partner and the patron of the opening debate.
The Economic Forum’s opening debate:
‘Europe after the Lisbon Treaty – Strategies for the Future’ September the 8th, 2:30pm, Krynica-Zdrój, Main Pump Room (Pijalnia Główna).
Many prominent politicians from Europe have accepted our invitation to take part in the debate. They will discuss the new political order that emerged after the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty, trying to answer the following questions regarding the future of the European Union: in what way will the Treaty of Lisbon change Europe and will the continent rise to the challenges of globalisation faced in the 21st century?
The debate will be hosted by: the Małopolska Regional Development Agency and the Institute for Eastern Studies.
